If Earthblade is at The Game Awards as it's seemingly been teased, one has to wonder if the game will finally get its long-awaited release date. It's also possible that the Earthblade Twitter is trolling fans and the game won't have an appearance at The Game Awards. It's unlikely, but it's possible that the numbers in the gif are just a coincidence. While it certainly seems as though Earthblade is gearing up for a big reveal at The Game Awards tonight, fans should keep their expectations in check. The Twitter for Earthblade re-tweeted the Extremely Ok Games tweet with eye emojis, suggesting that the 12/8 could very well translate to December 8, the night The Game Awards is taking place.
